Hi, I'm Veerle van Reisen

Hello! I'm Veerle van Reisen. I'm passionate to create intuitive and meaningful experiences for users and their needs. 

During my bachelor's degree Communication & Multimedia Design (completed in 2019), I focussed on designing user-friendly interfaces. 

In 2021, I completed the master Media Technology at Leiden University, where I learned to apply creativity and technology in a scientific context. By doing unconventional research, often including technology and actual self-created products, it was possible to discover alternative insights. I have created (interactive) installations, games, interfaces, computer programs, animations, videos, etc. to use as a method to gather new insights or to use as a final result. Creativity (e.g., formulating my own scientific questions) and critical thinking were important aspects. I also obtained more knowledge about UX design and expanded my knowledge in the design field by learning more about games and product design.
