Preserver Of Personal Space In Certain Living Environments

Together with two fellow students, we created the Preserver Of Personal Space In Certain Living Environments (P.O.P.S.I.C.L.E.). In times before the CORONA-19 virus, people often came unwanted into your personal space. A self-sewn cape including distance sensors, LED strips and speakers was created. When people entered the personal space range, they were warned by the speaker sound and red LED lights. The speaker sound worked similar to parking detectors, when someone comes closer the beep rate increases. The video and images provide an impression of the work.

This project was carried out together with Ingrid Weerts and Kuhu Sinha.
