Social Robotics

Together with a fellow student, we taught a class about social robotics. During the lecture, various aspects of social robotics were discussed. I was responsible for the following parts. During the lecture, I elaborated on the humanoid or android appearance of social robots. Besides this, the social support that social robots provide was mentioned. Other parts of the lecture involved the communication skills of social robots (including the different mechanisms for human-robot communication) and the long-term interaction with robot companions.
